Southern Decadence New Orleans 2024 Schedule. It is important to note however that southern decadence events take place much earlier in the summer starting with the naming of the official theme, colors and song which is done by the grand marshalls. There are costumes, high fashion, dancing, and obviously a few parades (since this is new orleans!).

Doors open at 9:00 pm party goes until 2:00 am! Every labor day weekend, the new orleans gay and lesbian community hosts southern decadence, the largest lgbtq+ event in new orleans culminating in a parade!
